Dunky Cup { Product Review }

This review is such a wonderful break from all the politics and world news monopolizing my Facebook feed, app notifications, and twitter account. Being “woke” is certainly a lot of work! When I was contacted about doing a review for Dunky Cup, I was more than willing. Milk and cookies? Yes please! Oh, it’s for the kids? Oh, ok. One for me, one for you…

ooooooh! oreos 😀

This adorable, kid-friendly, toddler-sturdy dessert dish (cup) holds 3-6 of your favorite cookies and delicious dairy (cow, almond, or otherwise) in one cozy container. The Dunky Cup is sturdy enough to hold hot drinks too: hot cocoa or coffee for Dad, spiked eggnog or warm Kahlua for Mom.

Our kiddos really enjoyed fighting over sharing the Dunky Cup. I really loved the screams over who got the bigger Oreo silence of mouths filled with cookies and milk. Best of all, it got our milk-loathing five year-old to drink some calcium-rich almond milk! If a cup full of Oreos helps the medicine go down, so be it.

I could see how a mom could ask “why would I actually need this?” but there’s some interesting science behind this parent-made product. According to a study performed by British chef, Heston Blumenthal explains why dunking a cookie (also known as a biscuit in the UK) enhances the flavor. I need less science to support why wine is actually good for you and why chocolate is nature’s anti-depressant.

see? chocolate = happy

The fact it made the kids happy, got milk in their tummies, is microwave safe, and dishwasher safe makes this wifey a happy mom. It can make you extra happy too when you support the family who invented this product by donating to their family-friendly Kickstarter right here. They are already 2/3 of the way to their goal of $3,900. When you donate $45 you will receive 2 Dunky Cups + 8 Oreo cookies!
